Rosewood back and sides matched with a Sitka spruce top serve up warm lows, pristine highs and a slightly scooped midrange, yielding a dynamic tonal character ideal for working musicians across genres and styles. New scalloped V-ClassĀ® bracing ensures a rich low-end response, while enhancing volume, sustain and harmonic agreement between notes played along the entire fretboard. A new long-tenon Action Control Neckā„¢ contributes extra sonic warmth and depth while enabling precise, on-the-fly string height adjustments.

Visually, the 414ce features a gloss-finish body, black body binding, a firestripe pickguard, Taylor nickel tuners, new Weathervane inlays and a single-ring Italian acrylic rosette with black and white purfling.
